What's included
Your chosen pack of EV1 pigtail leads. Each lead is a female socket plug pre-wired on 16-gauge 2-conductor wire, 4.25 in (10.8 cm) long — cut off the damaged plug, splice or solder the lead into your harness, and plug in.
Fitment & compatibility
Fits fuel injectors with the EV1 connector — also called Jetronic or Minitimer: a wide rectangular housing with two round pin cavities, held on by a separate steel wire spring clip. Common on EV1 injectors in many 1980s–90s EFI engines. This plug does not fit USCAR (EV6 / EV14) injectors — if your plug is a compact square with a molded press-down latch, use the EV6 / EV14 pigtails instead. How to splice in a pigtail
1. Cut the old plug
Cut the harness wires behind the damaged plug, staggering the two cuts so the splices don't sit side by side.
2. Join the lead
Match the two wires, then solder or crimp each joint and seal it with heat-shrink — the joint lives in engine-bay heat and vibration.
3. Plug in
Push the plug onto the injector until it seats and refit the wire retaining clip.
